In 2013 and early 2014, we conducted several case studies to test the draft criteria we created for Phase 1, which focuses on Internet and telecommunications companies. Our case studies examined ICT companies in India, Russia, China, Latin America, Europe, and the United States. A forthcoming white paper will summarize the results of this research and describe how we used them to revise our methodology.
