Different strokes: This chart shows the discrepancy between the total ESG scores given to each RDR-ranked company by two ESG rating providers: Refinitiv (blue) and Sustainalytics (orange). The seven companies with the largest difference in scores have limited disclosures on digital rights issues, as reflected by RDR’s benchmarks, and are headquartered in countries with poor digital rights protections. Note: for Sustainalytics, where higher ratings represent higher risk, we normalized the scores for better comparability by subtracting them from 100. Data as of March 2023.
