Leandro joined RDR in 2021 as Global Partnerships Manager, focused on nurturing our work with civil society organizations around the world. During RDR’s time at WBA, he served as RDR’s Engagement Lead, continuing to lead RDR’s initiatives with CSOs, supporting engagement with investor groups, and liaising with the companies assessed in the RDR Index. Leandro is a lawyer and digital rights advocate with a decade of experience working in the technology & human rights space. Before joining RDR, he was a researcher and project officer at the Association for Civil Rights (ADC, in Spanish), a non-profit and independent NGO, based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. At ADC, Leandro managed research projects and advocacy campaigns focused on the right to privacy in the digital age. He has published reports covering issues such as biometrics (including facial recognition), encryption, surveillance, cybersecurity, financial technologies, and digital identity. He has participated as a speaker in international events and multilateral fora including at the United Nations, the Organization of American States (OAS), the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), RightsCon, and the Internet Governance Forum (IGF). He is originally from Argentina.
